A closer look at the 18 stunning holes that face golf's best players when the 2010 US Open arrives at Pebble Beach Golf Links in June. Find out where the season's second Major is likely to be won and lost with an in-depth guide to this year's US Open venue
Hole 2 Par 4 502 yards
Hole Guide
The second hole was converted from a par 5 to a par 4 for the 2000 US Open, and remains this way for the 2010 event. As well as being incredibly long to reach in regulation, the second hole demands a straight tee shot to a fairway as narrow as 30 yards, as well as a good putting stroke on a green that is deceptively fast. The narrow green is also guarded on each side by two long, deep bunkers.
