Hole 1 Par 4 380 yards
Hole Guide
Major championships have, and will start with longer holes than the 380-yard first hole at Pebble Beach, but the sloped fairway will test players to hit the fairway on the first blow. Most will opt for a long-iron or hybrid off the tee because a fairway position is paramount to gain a clear view of what is an extremely narrow green. Although length is not an issue, players will be glad to walk off this dogleg hole with a par 4.
