Congressional Country Club: Hole 15
The 2011 US Open returns to Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. Here's your hole-by-hole guide to the Blue course that last hosted America's Open in 1997
Hole 15 Par 4 490 yards
The 15th hole is a par 4 and one of the trickiest on the Blue course. The tee shot requires a slight draw around the trees and four bunkers sit just off the right of the fairway, all in driving distance. If the players are to hit the green in regulation it may require a long-iron for the second shot. One bunker sits behind the elevated green, which slopes from back to front right. The front right of the green is surrounded by three sand traps.
