How to take part
Discover how you can enter and have a chance to become Britain's Best Putter
Simply get your club secretary or professional to register their interest in holding a putting competition by emailing the BBP team at britainsbestputter@ipcmedia.com or calling us on: 020 3148 4224 Upon registering they will be sent a comprehensive Golf Monthly/Odyssey Putting Pack to assist with the running of your putting event.
The Rules
There are no rules set in stone for the format, we are empowering you to create your own putting event, but here are a few suggestions.
A stand-alone putting event played in a medal format, which could be run at the end of your monthly medal. A matchplay tournament creating excitement and buzz around your practice putting green, office carpet or even a local crazy putting course! A fun family afternoon with a BBQ around the putting green - a great opportunity to get the whole club involved.
Extra prizes...
We would love to hear all about your events and see you in action on the putting green, so there will be the opportunity for you to upload your own videos to our BBP Facebook page, facebook.com/BritainsBestPutter - tweet them to @BBPutter with the hashtag #bbputter or send us a link to your video and we'll collate the best on our special BBP microsite which can be found at golf-monthly.co.uk/britainsbestputter
As an added incentive there will be Odyssey prizes for the ‘Best Putt', ‘Best Celebration' and ‘Best Commentary'!
