Details of some recent local results in Golf Monthly, Callway and Odyssey's 'Britain's Best Putter' competition
KP Golf Club, Yorkshire
Winner: Danny Whelan
Hosted by club head professional Ashley Pheasant, the KP Club had 135 competitors who each paid £1 to enter, with money going to charity. Pheasant said: "A great day was had by our members, who took part and loved the forward thinking competition Callaway, Odyssey and Golf Monthly have formed. The online tweeting and Facebook marketing has been brilliant and my eventual winner Dan is over the moon to be going to Rockliffe Hall."
Dan will take part in the North-East regional final, held at Rockliffe Hall on Saturday 11th August.
Haywards Heath Golf Club, Sussex
Winner: Jack Floydd Runner-up: Matthew Hollis
Hosted by PGA Professional Simon Iliffe, Haywards Heath staged an eight-hole strokeplay challenge, with holes of varying lengths and difficulties. More than 50 people - who could have as many goes on the course as they liked - took part in the competition, with the only stipulation being they had to use a different Odyssey Putter each time.

Allowing two putts per hole as par, two people were tied on five-under-par at the end of play. In the ensuing eight-hole play-off, Jack Floydd shot two-under-par to take the title.
Jack will now head to the South-East regional final, held at Stoke Park on Sunday 19th August.
Walton Hall Golf Club, Warrington
Winner: Chris Baird
Chris will compete in the North-West regional final at Formby Hall on Saturday 4th August.
Royal Cromer Golf Club, Norfolk
Winner: Allistair Fulcher
Tim Stanford hosted the event, with Allistair taking 20 putts over 12 holes to secure victory.
Allistair will now participate in the South-East regional final at Stoke Park.
Shipley Golf Club, Yorkshire
Winner: Danny Rowley
Hosted by Nathan Stead on the club's putting green, Danny took 16 putts over nine holes to clinch the local qualifyer.
Danny will compete against Danny Whelan and others at Rockliffe Hall.

Dave will participate in the South-East regional final at Stoke Park
Nick Bonfield joined Golf Monthly in 2012 after graduating from Exeter University and earning an NCTJ-accredited journalism diploma from News Associates in Wimbledon. He is responsible for managing production of the magazine, sub-editing, writing, commissioning and coordinating all features across print and online. Nick has been an avid golf fan since the age of ten and became obsessed with the professional game after watching Mike Weir and Shaun Micheel win The Masters and PGA Championship respectively in 2003. In his time with Golf Monthly, he's interviewed the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Jose Maria Olazabal, Henrik Stenson, Padraig Harrington, Lee Westwood and Billy Horschel and has ghost-written columns for Westwood, Wayne Riley, Matthew Southgate, Chris Wood and Eddie Pepperell. Nick is a 12-handicap golfer and his favourite courses include Old Head, Sunningdale New, Penha Longha, Valderrama and Bearwood Lakes.
