We were playing our annual Ryder weekend when we always play somewhere different to our home club of St Neots.
I wasn't playing that well coming to the 18th with only 29 points!
I hit the shot well and saw it roll towards the hole. There was a roar from the clubhouse as it went in.
It only cost me £50 luckily!
Andrew Lamb College Pines Golf Club, 11th Hole 17th October 2015
Andrew's Story
Playing in the Medal Final and having scrambled to be just two over par after 10 holes, We came to the short 11th a Par 3 of 145 yards long. I decided to switch to a new Srixon Soft ball and hit a Wedge to a try and just get onto the green. being unable to see the bottom of the flag, my shot seemed to bounce up and then disappear, My playing partners were all saying that it was in, but I thought that I had over hit the green. I actually helped look for someone else's ball before checking behind the green and then with not seeing anything checked the hole.
Great way to finish the week as my birthday was 3 days before and that was my first ever hole in one.
