Urban Golf launches 'Winter Warm Up' package

Urban Golf has launched a package of golf lessons and practice sessions aimed at ensuring golfers don't let their game suffer during the winter months.
The 'Winter Warm Up' package costs £225 and consists of six thirty-minute lessosn with a qualified professional and free use of Urban Golf's simulators during off peak times (Monday - Friday between 10am and 6pm) in January, February and March.
Urban Golf's managing director; James Day, came up with the package as a way for golfers to beat the expected harsh winter.
"In 2010 there were courses up and down the country that shut due to the snow and frost, often for over a month at a time," said Day.
"What I wanted to do was give golfers the chance, not just to keep their eye in but make sure they're practicing the right stuff with tuition from our expert professionals."
Steve Smith, Urban Golf's head professional, added: "Each spring I get inundated by clients wanting a last minute tune up before the season begins in earnest.
"If you've not played or practiced for 3 or 4 months there's no way you're going to be at your best when you step out onto the first tee.
