GPS giant TomTom has entered the golf market with its debut GPS watch, the TomTom Golfer.
It features unique course graphics that display distances to hazards, lay-up yardages and any spots you'll need to avoid around the green, such as bunkers and ponds.
Other features of the GPS watch include precise yardages to the front, centre and back of the green (as shown in the picture above), with a database of more than 34,000 global courses available, all of which can be updated wirelessly via a smartphone app.
For dogleg holes, the TomTom Golfer shows you the remaining yardage to the dogleg, allowing you to plan your approach into the green from the best possible point on the fairway.
With the TomTom Golfer you can also log your score as you play, measure the distance you have walked and time how long your round has taken.
The lightweight and slim watch also has automatic hole recognition so you always get yardages to the correct greens and hazards.

The scratch resistant display is waterproof up to 50 metres, helping protect it on rainy days and from any accidents.
Its rechargeable battery should last 10 hours in GPS mode, and up to one month when used as a regular watch.
The TomTom Golfer weighs just 53g, is available in White/Green or Dark Grey/Green and retails at £179.99.
