Titleist Ambassador Jason Dufner breaks major duck
Titleist Brand Ambassador Jason Dufner claimed the USPGA Championship title with a two shot victory at Oak Hill Country Club, using a complete range of Titleist equipment
Jason Dufner captured the 2013 USPGA Championship to round off the 2013 Majors in a similar vein to how they started; with a Titleist Brand Ambassador completing victory.
After firing a course record 7-under par 63 on Friday, Dufner completed victory with a final round 2-under par of 68 to post a 10-under par, 270 winning total - the lowest ever recorded in the USPGA Championship at Oak Hill.
Dufner used a range of Titleist equipment, including the Pro V1 golf ball, 910D2 driver, 913F and 913Fd fairway metals, AP2 Prototype 714 irons, Vokey Design SM4 sand wedge, TVD K-Grind lob wedge and Scotty Cameron putter.
Dufner put the new AP2 Prototype 714 irons into play for the first time at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational last week, where he finished tied-4th.
Fifteen players who teed-up at Oak Hill put the new prototype irons into play this week, including Titleist Brand Ambassador's Tim Clark and Marc Leishman.
As well as being the choice of the champion, Titleist golf balls were also the choice of the majority of the field. In total, 87 players of the 156-player field put their trust in the Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls.
The impressive count was further validated at the top of the leaderboard, where five of the six players who finished in the top five and ties put their trust in the world's best-selling ball franchise.

Elsewhere, on the Web.com Tour, Titleist golf ball loyalist Andrew Svoboda completed his maiden career victory at the Price Cutter Charity Championship.
These victories take Titleist's 2013 worldwide golf ball win count to 90, compared to 31 for the nearest competitor.
