Teeofftimes.co.uk Sponsors Fundraiser Supporting The Golf Foundation
The Golf Foundation is planning a fundraiser thanks to Teeofftimes.co.uk where the foundation will receive donated green fees from selected golf clubs starting in April, 2014.
Teeofftimes.co.uk is the Golf Foundations new 'Official Tee-Time Booking Partner' and last summer offered to help the charity to raise awareness and funds with the support of its network.
With the April date in place, selected golf clubs are now being asked by the Golf Foundation to donate funds from the sale of four green fees, collected by the Teeofftimes.co.uk team. Teeofftimes.co.uk will also be donating all of the commission from the sale of these tee times directly to the Foundation's HSBC Golf Roots programme.
Money raised will support the Golf Foundation's work in making the game more accessible to children from all backgrounds and circumstances.
The Golf Foundation's HSBC Golf Roots program grows the game in schools and communities and then encourages young golfers into the club environment where they can be coached by PGA Pros to be ready for regular play.
"Club members want to help. We now ask them to support this cause through the donation of tee times starting in April and we think some great funds can be raised while also spreading awareness of the work of the Golf Foundation," said General Manager of Teetimes.co.uk Richard Barker.
