swingSURE selected as official insurance provider for The Celebrity Cup
Golf insurance provider swingSURE will provide cover for all players at the Golf Live event.
Yumax company swingSURE has been chosen as the official insurance provider for The Celebrity Cup at Golf Live, by Brand Events.
The event, which takes place at Celtic Manor next month, sees 24 celebrities do battle, in teams representing England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
James Goode, Brand Events' Event Director, said, "swingSURE really understood our business and have been able to give us the cover we needed to put on an event of this scale. We are delighted to be working with swingSURE to ensure that The Celebrity Cup at Golf Live follows on from the previous successes of this event."
Every celebrity will also have the chance to win £50,000 for the Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation, if they score a hole-in-one during The Celebrity Cup whilst playing on the par-3 6th hole.
In addition to this, swingSURE is also running a charity hole-in-one competition at the event's gala dinner, where anyone who makes a hole-in-one will win a further £50,000, which will also be donated to the Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation.
Roger Wolfe, co-found of swingSURE, said, "With the scenes that plagued the 2010 Ryder Cup, which saw it stretch into a fourth day, swingSURE provides the most comprehensive cover for events of this nature.
"The elements can play a huge role in the success of events like The Celebrity Cup at Golf Live and yet it is the one thing we can't control. This made swingSURE the perfect fit for Brand Events."
