Softspikes unveils new cleat models
Renowned cleat brand Softspikes has revealed two new designs for the 2013 season: Stealth and Cyclone Ice
Renowned cleat brand Softspikes has revealed two new designs for the 2013 season.
The two new cleat designs are the low-profile Stealth and the advanced Cyclone Ice.
Stealth - utilised in FootJoy's new M:PROJECT golf shoe - will be released in PINS thread to European golfers in 2013.
Stealth is available in black and silver and is designed to offer traction, stability and overall performance.
Softspikes' Performance Insert System (PINS) has been instrumental in improving balance. It also places players closer to the ground, helping to significantly improve feedback and ball striking.
The cleat brand has also announced the launch of Cyclone Ice, which is featured in FootJoy's XPS-1 shoe.
It features multi-material components with a forward-thinking rotational design, which counteracts unwanted forces at impact.
