Senior Open tickets: perfect holiday gift
Wales is set to host a Major Championship for the first time when the Senior Open Championship Presented by Rolex visits Royal Porthcawl Golf Club next year, and golf fans can make sure they witness this occasion by taking advantage of a special holiday ticket offer.
With Christmas just around the corner you can buy advance tickets for the event on www.seniorgolfopen.com, which takes place from July 24-27, 2014.
One-day tickets purchased before December 31 cost £20, a saving of £10 on the gate price, while Wednesday practice day tickets are also available at the reduced price of £10, a saving of £5 from the gate price.
Children under the age of 16 are admitted for free when accompanied by an adult, and parking is also free.
"We are hoping that the Welsh public will take advantage of this superb advance ticket offer and will come out and support a Major Championship on their doorstep," said the R&A's Executive Director of Championships Johnnie Cole-Hamilton.
Fans are also able to buy season tickets to see some of golf's most iconic names take on this iconic South Wales links course for a discounted rate of £60 if purchased before December 31.
