Prince's Golf Club receives prestigious award
Prince's Golf Club in Kent has been given an award in recognition of its contribution to tourism in Kent.

Prince's Golf Club - located on the south coast of Kent - has been awarded the prestigious Chariman's Award by the Kent Tourist Board for its work to increase golf tourism and raise employment in the area.
The presentation was made at Visit Kent's 10th Anniversary celebrations, with the trophy being presented to the club's Sales and Marketing Manager David Holder.
The General Manager of Prince's Golf Club & The Lodge at Princes, John George, said: "This award is extremely gratifying and testament to the long term vision and passion of our owners and the hard work and dedication of the entire team here at Prince's.
"It has been an amazing few years witnessing the transformation of the courses and the construction of our spectacular new accommodation offering, so naturally it's fantastic to be recognised for our achievements.
"We look forward to welcoming both visiting golfers to The Lodge at Prince's and servicing them with warm hospitality, a first-class dining experience and the ability to unwind and relax after golf in our sumptuous bedrooms and apartments."
Located in between the towns of Deal and Sandwhich, this historic club has recently finished on-site accomodation at The Lodge to compliment its highly regarded 27 hole-layout.
Prince's has been working hard alongside the Kent Tourist Board attending golf and trade shows and entertaining members of the press as part of a focused strategy that has led to a significant rise in golf tourism in the area.

"The support that John George and David Holder have provided in developing press and trade links for the golf product has been invaluable to Visit Kent and to the golf industry as a whole."
