O2 is now offering golf insurance that could end up saving golfers hundreds of pounds by covering a number of unforeseen circumstances.
Golf equipment is covered up to the value of £1,000 if stolen, lost or damaged during a trip, with an item limit of £150.
Cover is also available for hire of alternative clubs, and in the event that you need to cancel or cut short your trip, O2
will pay up to £300 to cover lost green fees, which includes arriving late, falling ill or if golf courses are unexpectedly closed.
Cover is also in place in the event that you manage to make a hole in one and have to fork out for celebratory drinks, with this expense covered up to the value of £150.
