Nick Taylor What's In The Bag? 2025 Update
We take a look inside the bag of five-time PGA Tour winner Nick Taylor

Nick Taylor What's In The Bag?
Canadian Nick Taylor has won five times on the PGA Tour, most recently in January 2025 when he triumphed over Colombian Nico Echavarria in a playoff at the Sony Open in Honolulu. Taylor’s first Tour victory had come way back in 2014 at the Sanderson Farms Championship, but he had to wait six years to taste success again when he overcame Phil Mickelson at Pebble Beach during the 2020 AT&T Pro-Am. His next victory came at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open after edging out Tommy Fleetwood in a playoff, before he went on tp win the 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open in, you guessed it, another playoff. This time Charley Hoffman was his unfortunate victim.
Taylor is an equipment free agent having once been a TaylorMade staff player, which means he is free to pick and choose any clubs he likes. Currently his bag is a mix of TaylorMade and Titleist. Here we break down the clubs that the Canadian has in his bag for 2025.
Driver
What Driver Does Nick Taylor Use?
Titleist clubs feature prominently in Taylor’s bag at the moment, starting with a Titleist TSi3 driver that is powered by a Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6 X shaft. This is a model that blew us away in testing and we loved it so much in fact that it got the full five stars from our reviewer. The TSi3 is a classic looking driver that features a more compact, pear-shaped profile as well as a SureFit CG Track which is positioned around the rear skirt and allows players to alter their shot shape and launch characteristics. This varied adjustability combined with the increased forgiveness on offer make it appealing to a wide range of golfers, although it will primarily benefit the more skilled player. It is worth keeping an eye out to see if at some point Taylor puts the newer TSR driver into play as that is now considered one of the best drivers on the market.
Fairway woods
What Fairway Wood Does Nick Taylor Use?
Moving on to fairway woods now and Taylor carries two in his bag, both are TaylorMade but they are different models. His three-wood is a recent addition to the bag and replaces the Titleist TSi2 model he used last year. The Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6 X shaft remains, as does the 15 degree loft, but Taylor’s 3-wood of choice is now the TaylorMade Qi10, which is one of our current favorites and one of the most forgiving fairway woods.
In addition to this, the Canadian also carries a TaylorMade SIM2 Max 5-wood with 18 degrees of loft and fitted with a Mitsubishi Tensei AV 85 TX shaft. As mentioned above, Nick used to be a TaylorMade staff player and despite this no longer being the case, he clearly still enjoys the performance on offer from his fairway wood.
Hybrid
What Hybrid Does Nick Taylor Use?
Alongside the two fairway woods Taylor then uses a Titleist TSR2 hybrid with 21 degrees of loft and a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 95 X shaft. We found the TSR2 to be one of the most forgiving hybrids on the market and in our testing it was the profile that immediately grabbed our attention, as the TSR2 is quite large for a hybrid and probably sits closer to a compact fairway wood than it does some of the best hybrids.

Irons
What Irons Does Nick Taylor Use?
When it comes to his irons, Taylor once again favours Titleist. He uses a set of Titleist T100's which based on our testing we would say is an ideal option for the better player who is seeking a forgiving, compact iron that can hit the desired carry distance number time after time.
Taylor’s set goes from five-iron down to nine-iron, while he rounds out his irons with a Titleist T200 four-iron. All of his irons have Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts.
Wedges
What Wedges Does Nick Taylor Use?
The Canadian had been gaming the Titleist Vokey SM8 wedges when he defeated Fleetwood to win the Canadian Open, but in 2024 he transitioned into the new Vokey SM10 wedges - which are undoubtedly some of the best wedges we have ever tested and they are a popular choice in the professional game. He carries two SM10 wedges in lofts of 46° and 54°, but mixes things up by also including a Vokey Wedgeworks 58° wedge. All of these wedges are fitted with Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts.
Putter
What Putter Does Nick Taylor Use?
The final club in Taylor’s bag has been in there for a while, and it’s the iconic red TaylorMade Spider Tour putter that Taylor refers to as “old faithful”. The putter tends to be the club that golfers change the least frequently and the Canadian has been using this one for a while. “I’ve used it for six years now and it’s been great,” Taylor told Golf Monthly. “I love the stability of the face and that’s kind of why I haven’t gone away from it. It’s a softer face and with the Pro V1x ball that I use now it comes off the face with a feel and a sound that I really like. It just goes through and starts on my line very consistently and that’s what I love about it.” Taylor’s putter is fitted with a SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol Tour grip.
Ball
Titleist Pro V1x
His ball is the Titleist Pro V1x which is considered one of the best golf balls on the market and is extremely popular on tour. Taylor says that the spin levels and feel are his main reasons for choosing this ball and, unsurprisingly, our testing showed that the latest iteration of this ball delivered high levels of performance in all areas of the game. We actually noticed a jump in ball speed off the tee along with a strong flight, which resulted in impressive distance, which thankfully did not come at the cost of short game control.
Shoes
What Shoes Does Nick Taylor Wear?
Finally Taylor uses Adidas apparel and wears Adidas Tour 360 golf shoes. Although he is occasionally seen wearing other colors, you will most often find him sporting the black colorway. Previously, Taylor was wearing the Adidas ZG23 golf shoes - which we consider one of the best spiked golf shoes on the market, but the Tour 360 is something special and was given a five star rating by our golf shoe guru, Dan Parker who described it as “a premium, thoughtful, comfortable and good looking golf shoe that raises the bar for the Tour360 franchise once again.”
