Nick Taylor What's In The Bag? 2024 Update
We take a look inside the bag of four-time PGA Tour winner Nick Taylor
Nick Taylor What's In The Bag?
Canadian Nick Taylor is a four-time winner on the PGA Tour. His first came in 2014 at the Sanderson Farms Championship and he collected his second by out-dueling Phil Mickelson at Pebble Beach during the 2020 AT&T Pro-Am. He then got into the winner's circle again at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open in a playoff over Tommy Fleetwood, before going on to win the Waste Management Phoenix Open in a playoff, outlasting Charley Hoffman in 2024.
We break down the clubs he used to claim his latest victory, including in the exclusive video below.

Driver
What Driver Does Nick Taylor Use?
Nick Taylor uses a lot of golf clubs from Titleist at the moment, starting with the Titleist TSi3 driver. This was a model that we loved in testing. It features a more compact, pear-shaped profile and a SureFit CG Track positioned around the rear skirt, allowing players to alter their shot shape and launch characteristics. Additionally with its more varied adjustability and extra forgiveness on offer, it will appeal to a range of golfers while likely being focused on the better player. It will be interesting to see if Taylor puts the newer TSR driver into play at some point as that is now considered one of the best drivers on the market, but Taylor is clearly still loving his current gamer, powered by a Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6 X shaft.
Fairway woods
What Fairway Wood Does Nick Taylor Use?
Moving on to fairway woods Taylor carries two models right now. His three-wood, with 15 degrees of loft, is a Titleist TSi2 model and it has a Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6 X shaft.
He then uses a TaylorMade SIM2 Max with 18 degrees of loft. Taylor used to be a TaylorMade staff player and despite this changing, he clearly still enjoys the performance on offer from this Max fairway wood. It is fitted with a Mitsubishi Tensei AV 85 TX shaft.
Hybrid
What Hybrid Does Nick Taylor Use?
Alongside the two fairway woods Taylor then uses a Titleist TSR2 hybrid with 21 degrees of loft and a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 95 X shaft. In testing, it's the profile we instantly noticed, with the TSR2 possessing a lot more size and, if anything, it sits closer to a compact fairway wood than it does some of the best hybrids. We found the TSR2 to be one of the most forgiving hybrids on the market.

Irons
What Irons Does Nick Taylor Use?
Moving to the irons the Canadian has a Titleist T200 four-iron in the bag, before transitioning down into a set of Titleist T100's. They go from five-iron down to nine-iron and all of his irons have Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts.
Wedges
What Wedges Does Nick Taylor Use?
Nick Taylor had been gaming the Titleist Vokey SM8 wedges when he last one at the Canadian Open, but has since transitioned into the new Vokey SM10 wedges - some of the best wedges we have tested this year. He plays a 46° and 54° SM10 before opting for a Vokey Wedgeworks 58° wedge. Nick plays Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft's in his Titleist wedges.
Putter
What Putter Does Nick Taylor Use?
His other TaylorMade club in the bag at the moment has been in for a while, the TaylorMade Spider Tour putter. “The putter has a T-line alignment on the red-colored head,” Taylor told Golf Digest in 2021. “I used the Spider in 2017 and only had a single dot on top. I went away from that and then in 2018 I was struggling on the greens, and I went back to the Spider at Wyndham and shot 63 in the final round to keep my tour card and I’ve used it ever since. The T helped me not only get lined up properly, but in hitting the center of the face every time. Now that I’m using a line on my ball as well it almost looks like a grid when I look down at it. “
Ball
Titleist Pro V1x
His ball is the Titleist Pro V1x which is considered one of the best golf balls on the market and is extremely popular on tour. In our testing, the latest iteration of this ball delivered high levels of performance in all areas of the game. We noticed a jump in ball speed off the tee which, combined with a strong flight resulting in superb distance. This didn’t come at the cost of short game control was also a big win.
Shoes
What Shoes Does Nick Taylor Wear?
Finally Taylor uses Adidas apparel and this week was seen in what looks to be a new prototype Adidas Tour 360 golf shoe. Up until his recent win, Taylor was wearing the Adidas ZG23 golf shoes - what we consider one of the best spiked golf shoes on the market.
