Norway's Lofoten Golf Links announed Suzann Pettersen as their global Ambassador
Lofoten Golf Links has further developed its international reputation with the announcement of Suzann Pettersen as their global golf Ambassador.
Following the successful signing of Troon Golf, the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, the new ten-year agreement with the undisputed golf star will further enhance the global exposure and reputation of Lofoten Golf Links.
Frode Hov, CEO of Lofoten Golf Links, commented "Pettersen is Norway's highest profile sporting athlete and will represent Lofoten Golf Links both in Norway and abroad.
For us, this agreement is simply amazing; her brave style is extremely fitting for Lofoten's philosophy and gives us many unique opportunities to profile the world's "coolest" golf destination."
With its location on the Norwegian Sea and some 68 degrees north, Lofoten Golf Links provides golfers with a golfing experience that can be enjoyed throughout the day and in to the midnight sun.
The course is currently under development and extension to 18 holes of championship standard with conditioning synonymous with the Troon brand.
In a further step, Lofoten and Pettersen are developing an International golf championship that will take place under the midnight sun in Lofoten.
