Jeremy Ellwood eases to victory with Titleist
Golf Monthly's Jeremy Ellwood tastes victory at the inaugural Titleist Media Championship on England's Golf Coast

Golf Monthly's Jeremy Ellwood put on a golfing masterclass at two of England's finest links golf courses to capture the inaugural Titleist Media Championship ahead of a talented field which had assembled on the North West coast.
After opening with 31 points at the historic Royal Lytham & St Annes, Ellwood completed a wire-to-wire victory with a final round 34 points at Formby Golf Club to complete a three point victory.
The win marks the first Media championship of Ellwood's career, and saw him join a host of Titleist golf ball players who have tasted victory around the world this year.
Ellwood trusted a host of Titleist equipment on his way to victory, including the Pro V1 golf ball, new AP 714 prototype irons and Scotty Cameron GoLo putter.
He finished 3 points clear of Titleist Brand Ambassador Martin Hopley (Pro V1x). Titleist golf ball loyalist Richard Simmons (Pro V1x) completed a Titleist 1-2-3 after putting together a solid performance across the two days to take third position.
Other highlights from the Championship included a Championship record score of 38 points, posted by England Golf Coast's Geoff Harris at Formby, and a prize for David Keywood who claimed the nearest the pin award.
As well as being the choice of the champion, the legendary Titleist Pro V1 franchise was also the choice of an impressive 100% of the field and Titleist irons, the #1 choice on the PGA and European Tours, were also the choice of every player in the field.
