Foremost Golf joins forces with Golf Foundation
Foremost Golf and the Golf Foundation have become Development Partners and will be working together to help the charity's work in developing the game through Foremost's membership network of PGA Professionals.
Foremost Golf will now include information about the foundation's HSBC Golf Roots programme in its weekly Golf Retail Intelligence for Professionals newsletter, as well as making Golf Foundation products available in the Foremost 'Buyer's Guide'.
The care and consideration shown by the Golf Foundation has helped 750,000 youths a year in its HSBS Golf Roots programme. The encouragement the foundation offers to young people in school and community projects has, and will continue to bring more of the younger generation to golf clubs.
The new paper and online coaching resource is anticipated to help keep more young people in golf clubs, but also help develop and progress the business models of PGA coaches looking to increase family-golf activity.
Since its recent launch, 418 PGA Professionals have started using the Junior Golf Passport at more than 340 clubs, already involving more than 1,800 new youngsters at club level.
Mike Round, Chief Executive of the Golf Foundation, said: "This charity's central aim is to give children and young people the opportunity to experience golf and the benefits it has to offer.

"One of the ways we do this is to provide solutions to PGA Professionals looking to develop their work with schools, their links with their local community and their club-based programme."
The work that has already been done by the Golf Foundation has enormously benefitted youngsters in getting involved in the game, and this will only increase with the new partnership in place.
"We are delighted to team up with the Golf Foundation and look forward to spreading news about its HSBC Golf Roots programme and its other activities to our members," said Foremost Director, Andy Martin.
