Eddie Pepperell joins Wolsey
Eddie Pepperell is the latest Tour professional to join Wolsey’s roster. Pepperell will be representing the brand on the PGA European Tour.
Pepperell, 24, turned professional in 2011 after a glittering amateur career that included victories at the Portuguese Amateur Championship, The Welsh Amateur Strokeplay and the Berkshire Trophy. An England amateur, Pepperell was a member of the victorious team at the European Championships in 2010 as well as three winning Jacques Léglise Trophy teams.
In 2012, Pepperell won the Challenge Tour's Allianz Open Côtes d'Armor Bretagne and in 2013 qualified for his first Major Championship, the US Open at Merion Golf Club.
2014 proved to be a successful season for Eddie as he finished 49th on the European Tour Race to Dubai, the highlight of which was a string of four top-five finishes in five weeks.
‘It’s amazing to have a brand as established and experienced as Wolsey supporting my career’, said Pepperell. He continued, ‘They have shown that golfers can wear the latest fashions without having to sacrifice performance or quality’.

Louis Wolcott, Wolsey’s brand director added, ‘Eddie has a great future on the European Tour and has already started this season strongly with a fourth place finish in Qatar’. He continued, ‘In signing him we have really strengthened our team of pioneers. His personality and look fit well with the ethos of our brand and we are looking forward to seeing his progression on Tour this season’.
Pepperell’s partnership with the British heritage brand has got off to a flying start. His stroke average is currently 68.75 and a recent fourth-place finish at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters will give the young Englishman confidence as the season progresses.
Robert Rock and Toby Tree are amongst Wolsey’s existing brand ambassadors. Pepperell joins the brand’s ‘Pioneers’ and will wear apparel from the latest 2015 Spring/Summer Sportsman collection.
