ClubstoHire.com, the golf club rental firm, has won the 2013 Vodafone Startup award for ‘Best Service'.
The Dublin-based firm was chosen from a list of 400 companies that were considered for the service award at the Royal Hibernian Academy.
"We're delighted to win this fantastic award - particularly since it shows the recognition from our peers for the product and service we provide," said CEO Tony Judge.
Through ClubstoHire, golfers can rent clubs from the likes of TaylorMade, Callaway and Wilson. The rental clubs are available from €35 per set per week.
More than 30,000 sets of clubs were hired out in 2012 and a new website was launched earlier this year to provide a faster service to cope with the increasing number of bookings.
"Our aim has always been to help make golfing holidays more enjoyable, convenient and less expensive, and with more locations shortly to be announced, we're continuing to do everything possible to make this happen," added Judge.
Clubstohire's rental services hold at 16 European locations including Lisbon, Murcia, Alicante, Barcelona, Girona, Malaga, La Linea/Gibraltar, Palma, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Aphrodite Hills, Isle of Man, Edinburgh and Dublin.
