Europe's largest golf club rental operator is extending its services to three key American locations from next week by Alex Clewett
ClubstoHire, Europe's leading golf club retail operator, is expanding into the American market from late June with sets of the latest TaylorMade and Callaway clubs available to golfers flying into Orlando, Florida; Scottsdale, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada.
The service will be available from $90 per set and after being pre-selected online, the clubs will be delivered to your hotel or resort on arrival and collected prior to departure.
The first location to open will be Orlando, the most-visited American destination with 62 million in 2014, with strong flight connections and access to nearly 200 local golf courses. Clubs will be available to all three destinations from 1st July.
This move into the competitive American market follows the successful expansion of global operations into Africa in Cape Town and Marrakech and Asia in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket (all Thailand) during the last year.
In 2015, the Dublin-based company, which was only founded five years ago, will supply over 75,000 sets of golf clubs from 25 locations around the world.
As CEO Tony Judge points out, "There are 25 million active golfers in the United States - five times the number in Europe", so they are confident that this expansion will be well received in all three new locations.
