Cleatskins, makers of Cleatskins Golf, has announced a multi-year endorsement relationship with PGA Tour pro John Senden.
This sponsorship, along with PGA Tour rookie Spencer Levin, marks the company’s first foray into the golf industry and is part of a larger effort to use grassroots sports marketing to help boost brand awareness among golfers and throughout the sports industry as a whole.
Cleatskins Golf fit over golf shoes to quickly and conveniently takes golfers from the course to the clubhouse and beyond, without requiring a change of shoes.
Senden, who tied for second place at the Buick Open last week, said: "Cleatskins are an incredibly practical accessory for me and other golfers who are moving on and off the course frequently so I’m thrilled to have their support."
The Australian is currently ranked 24th in the Fed Ex Cup standings and is enjoying one of the best years of his career since turning pro in 1992.
Cleatskins Golf is an innovative, unique, and one-of-a-kind product that essentially converts golf shoes into street shoes. Cleatskins feature a rubber shell that cups the bottom of golf shoes to extend the life of cleats, improve mobility and safety on asphalt, concrete and other hard surfaces, and provide a sealed barrier to keep dirt and grass out of the home and car.
