Another fleet secured for Club Car
Burhill Golf & Leisure drives business with 144-strong Club Car fleet
Club Car, recognised industry leaders in golf and utility vehicle efficiency, design and performance have just supplied 144 Club Car vehicles to Burhill Golf & Leisure. This agreement underlines the commitment that Burhill Golf & Leisure, the UK s leading golf course owner and operator, is making to ensure its venues are the best in their localities.
All 10 Burhill Golf & Leisure golf courses have taken delivery of Club Car s latest golf car, the Precedent, giving customers the option to play their golf in style, comfort and ease. The Precedent offers best-in-class reliability, efficiency and performance, and is engineered with innovative technologies and conveniences. The model has received widespread praise throughout the industry, as well as being used by both team captains at the 2006 Ryder Cup. A variety of utility vehicles for course rangers and food and beverage services have also been purchased.
Colin Mayes, Chief Executive of Burhill Golf & Leisure, said: The investment in a fleet of Club Car Precedents and utility vehicles is central to our goal of offering customers the best facilities, the best service and the best value. It is also about driving our business forward and Club Car, with its outstanding golf vehicles, has proved an excellent partner in this.
Kevin Hart, Club Car National Account Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said: Our golf cars will further enhance the quality offering at Burhill Golf & Leisure courses. The Precedent is a product of Club Car s commitment to innovation and high-end manufacturing and has proved hugely popular with consumers and golf course businesses alike. Combined with food and beverage vehicles, a fleet of golf cars like this is a highly effective way of increasing revenue, and I am sure this is precisely how Burhill Golf and Leisure will benefit.
