Adam Scott: what's in the bag

Adam Scott won his first major championship at the Masters using Titleist and FootJoy equipment

Adam Scott

Adam Scott became the first Australian to win the Masters after beating Angel Cabrera in a play-off at Augusta National.

In doing so, he used Titleist equipment from tee to green and trusted the performance of his FootJoy shoes and glove.

The 32-year-old holed a 20-footer on the 72nd hole with Cabrera - needing a birdie to force extra holes - waiting in the fairway behind.

But the Argentine - a fellow Titleist Pro V1 and FootJoy loyalist - hit the shot of the day to three feet and knocked in the resulting putt to send the duo back down the 18th.

The pair parred the first play-off hole, but Scott converted his 12-foot birdie putt on the 10th to taste major success for the first time.
