Progen Full Bore 2.4
Solid performers that struggle for distance in the short irons.

Progen Full Bore 2.4 3-SW £250(s), £300(g)
DESIGN
Highly polished head with wide sole and progressive undercuts from 3 to 7 iron. They have an inoffensive, classic cavity back style and look good behind the ball.
TECH TALK
High levels of sole and perimeter weighting mean a higher moment of inertia and increased stability at impact. The progressive undercut system makes for optimum flight and the cavity backs 8-PW offer feel and control. The topline is relatively thick and this combined with the progressive offset should inspire confidence at address.
PERFORMANCE
Good with the exception of the short irons which struggle for distance.

GM VERDICT
These clubs look great, neat with plenty of visible forgiveness. The mid irons are crisp and consistent and the long irons fairly easy to use.
