Benross VX-2i irons
Benross continue to impress in the value for money bracket

BENROSS VX-2i £249(s) £299(g)
DESIGN
The relatively thin topline and highly polished head mean these irons don't have a bulky game improvement look. They should attract the traditionalist after a bit more help from the fairway.
TECH TALK
Carefully shaped rear powerpads and undercut cavities offer superior weight distribution for more distance and control. On impact the clever weighting design should help hide off centre hits with reliable, impressive ball flights.
GM VERDICT
Good strikes will give high impressive ball flights and poor contacts will not threaten to demolish a good score - an all-round solid performer. These irons are great value for money. Ideally suited to improving golfers they will they offer a consistency of strike guaranteed to help you snip shots of your handicap.
