Wilson upgrade 88 Series BLK line of putters
Wilson update its classic line of Wilson Staff 88 Series BLK putters - inspired by the Wilson 8802 - for the new season
Wilson Golf has refurbished the 88 Series BLK line of putters for 2012.
Upgrades have been made to four models, all of which feature a modern design and black anti-glare PVD finish set to appeal to today's golfer.
The new range was inspired by the Wilson 8802 putter, used to capture a range of major championships.
The new Wilson 88 Series BLK putters have been refreshed with both precision milling and built-in alignment aids.
The four putters comprising the updated range have their own special design features, and are numbered accordingly:
The Wilson Staff 8881 BLK is the more traditional, heel-toe weighted putter with a plumber hosel.
The Wilson Staff 8882 BLK combines an ageless bladed shape with a heel shaft and offset gooseneck hosel.

In keeping with modern developments, the 8883 and 8885 BLK mark a break with the conventional.
The Wilson Staff 8883 BLK is a semi-mallet, toe-weighted putter with a heel shaft and offset gooseneck hosel, whilst the Wilson Staff 8885 BLK is a heel-toe weighted mallet putter with a heel shaft and plumber hosel.
The 8885 model is available in men's left-handed, plus a right-hand option for female players.
Bob Thurman, Vice President of R&D at Wilson Staff, said: "The 88 Series BLK line brings a new style to our rich history of Wilson putters.
"The new range upholds the tradition of proven technology and classic looks that golfers have come to expect from Wilson Staff."
The Wilson Staff 88 Series BLK putters are available from February 2012 at RRP of £89.99
