New Titleist Pro V1 & Pro V1x balls seeded in Dubai
Tour players - including Louis Oosthuizen and Ian Poulter - recieved their 'white boxes' contaning Titleist's new Pro V1 and Pro V1x prototype golf balls ahead of the European Tour's season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai
There was added excitement for Titleist golf ball loyalists before the start of the season-ending DP World Tour Championship, with the official seeding of the new Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x prototype golf balls taking place.
The new balls were utilised by Pro V1x loyalist Luke Donald and Titleist Ambassador Adam Scott in their respective victories a fortnight ago, and 'white boxes' containing the prototype balls were seeded in players' lockers at Jumeirah Golf Estates last week.
World number two Luke Donald - coming straight off victory in Japan - was one of the first to offer feedback on the Titleist Pro V1x prototype to Jonathan Loosemore, Titleist's Director of Leadership.
His victory at the Dunlop Phoenix Open made him the first player across all the worldwide professional tours to win with the new Titleist Pro V1x prototype golf ball.
Before the start of the DP World Tour Championship - comprised of the top 60 in the Race to Dubai standings - Ian Poulter, Louis Oosthuizen and Michael Hoey were among other Titleist golf ball loyalists to receive 'white box' samples.
