Ping G2
Long and forgiving. What more do you want from the tee from the tee?
Ping G2 £249
DESIGN
Ping have developed a modern look for their latest tee time treat and the dark blue head and half moon alignment aid combine remarkably well. The 460cc head looks powerful behind the ball promising extra high-flying yards and plenty of room to forgive a ropey strike.
TEC TALK
The 460cc head is made of titanium and features an internal weighting system to reduce spin and launch the ball higher for added distance and accuracy. The thin, variable thickness face is precision machined for a higher energy transfer to provide forgiveness on off-centre hits.
PERFORMANCE
Producing a quality driver that offers the mid-handicapper extra yards and a forgiving strike is a common goal for many of the golf markets' major players. And take it from us Ping’s new G2 will be hard to beat. A crisp strong sound at impact results in a high ball flight that’s guaranteed to get you further down the fairway.

TOTAL GOLF VERDICT
You can usually expect to pay top whack for top quality sticks but Ping will only ask £249 for the G2. And with such a solid performance and design any player looking for a more consistent driving game should take this out for a spin.
