Alejandro Canizares: what's in the bag?
Ping staffer Alejandro Canizares produced a sublime wire-to-wire victory at the Trophee Hassan II to secure his second European Tour title
Ping staffer Alejandro Canizares produced a sublime wire-to-wire victory at the Trophee Hassan II to secure his second European Tour title.
The Spaniard - who won the 2006 Imperial Collection Russian Open - opened with a 10-under-par 62 and followed it with rounds of 68, 69 and 70 to finish five shots clear of fellow Ping staff professional and Golf Monthly playing editor Andy Sullivan.
"I was very accurate and solid with my irons. I leafy myself lots of chances and although I did not make all of them, the first day was the key day," said Canizares.
"I putted great the first day, shot ten under and just kept pushing on."
Below, we take a look at the Ping clubs Canizares used at the Golf du Palais Royal in Morocco. Alejandro Canizares: what's in the bag?
