Motocaddy launch winter wheels
Motocaddy has partnered with the Hedgehog Golf Company to produce a set of winter wheels specially designed for use throughout the winter months
Motocaddy, the top-selling brand in the powered golf trolly market, has joined forces with Hedgehog to launch a new set of trolley wheels specially designed for winter conditions.
The wheels - designed in conjunction with wheel experts at the Hedgehog Golf Company - will also allow more golfers to use trolleys through the year.
The Motocaddy winter wheels utilise an innovative anti-skid tread, more commonly seen on Hedgehog's popular manual trolly wheel grips.
This tread reduces turf compression and offers significant protection to the golf course during wet weather conditions.
"We've worked really hard to come up with a fairway-friendlly design that protects the golf course during the winter months and makes it easier to use a trolly throughout the year," said MotoCaddy Chairman David Wells.
"Hedgehog wheels are quickly becoming the the wheel most golf clubs demand for trolley use in wet conditions, so we are delighted to have worked closely with them on the design."
The winter wheels - made from a durable and hard-wearing construction - also feature an easy-to-use mechanism that makes it simple attach or take them off any Motocaddy-powered trolleys.
