Mizuno has revealed its new JPX-800 Pro irons, part of an exciting new range from the equipment giants that is set for release.
The JPX is the largest of Mizuno's grain flowed forged irons and has a longer profile than the MPs, although the traditional Mizuno look at address has been preserved with its modest offset and top line.
Golfers opting for the new Mizuno JPX-800 Pro irons will note distance gains through a combination of CNC milling and "under cut forging" that thin the face for improved energy transfer that results in the highest COR ever developed in one of its grain flow forged irons.

The JPX-800 Pro's feel is enhanced through the application of Mizuno's Harmonic Impact Technology that makes for an ever purer sound at impact.
The triple cut sole design is applied to effectively reduce the impact of the wider sole that will aid golfers from even the tightest of lies.
Mizuno's R&D manager, David Llewellyn, says: "We've achieved forgiveness without adding much offset - which is going to appeal to even professionals and single figure players."
