FootJoy launches Weather Expert micro-site
FootJoy has created a state-of-the-art micro-site, FJ Weather Expert, which accurately predicts local weather forecasts
FootJoy - the number one shoe and glove in golf - has launched a state-of-the-art micro-site, FJ Weather Expert, which predicts local weather and recommends the most appropriate FootJoy attire to wear on the golf course.
In line with the company's mantra of making every day playable and setting the standard in product innovation, the site suggests the most fitting items from its outwear, footwear and glove collections.
Powered by AccuWeather, the world's weather authority, the new FJ Weather Expert micro-site provides live forecast updates from anywhere in the country, as well as for over two million locations worldwide.
Users simply enter the postcode of their desired golf course and wait, as the pioneering software matches the day's conditions with the most suitable products from the FJ Layering System and FJ's extensive product line.
The simple, easy-to-use application is available on computers, tablets and smart phones, meaning you will never be caught out.
FootJoy first entered the golf outwear category in 1997 with the launch of DryJoys rain wear and, through constant innovation, set the standard for performance in inclement weather.
The FJ Layering System, introduced in 2001, was developed to meet the needs of golfers who demanded comfortable apparel that adapted to changing conditions and regulated body temperature.

"The thinking behind the FJ Weather Expert was to create a portal where our loyal following of FJ enthusiasts could make sure they were never caught out on the golf course with inappropriate clothing, footwear, gloves and accessories," said Russell Lawes, FootJoy's European Marketing Manager.
"FJ has always had a fantastic reputation for bringing high-tech, performance driven outwear to the market, and with the help of this fantastic micro-site, we are now able to take this one step further and enhance the golfers' on-course experience."
