ECCO scoops Product of the Year award
Danish footwear company ECCO has won the Product of the Year award at the prestigious Pro-Shop Europe awards
Danish brand ECCO has scooped another accolade for its innovative 2013 collection with the new Biom Hybrid winning Product of the Year at the prestigious Pro-Shop Europe awards.
ECCO - a leading global manufacturer of innovative footwear - received the sought-after award at a ceremony last Thursday.
The BIOM Hybrid - a cross between ECCO's flagship Golf Street and Golf Boom shoes - combines ECCO Natural Motion Technology with the award-winning Golf Street EDTS outsole.
The patented ECCO street EDTS (ECCO Dynamic Traction System) outsole contains 100 moulded traction bars and 800-plus traction angles.
These elements are constructed from TPU - a highly durable, water-resistant material - to provide exceptional grip in all weather conditions.
"To win this award is a huge honour. It's affirmation of the quality and performance of our hybrid products, as well as the esteem of the personnel throughout our golf team," said Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at ECCO.
"Biom Hybrid has been a rip-roaring success internationally, and we've even improved it for the 2013 season.
