Cobra AMP irons launched
Cobra announced the launch of its new AMP irons that promise to improve distance, feel and forgiveness
Cobra has launched its new AMP irons that are available as part of a full set or a combo set.
The Cobra AMP irons feature a progressive face and cavity design coupled with a V-Skid sole and Advanced Material Placement that provide both distance and accuracy.
The progressive face and cavity design optimise the performance of each individual iron to improve distance, feel and forgiveness throughout the set.
Heel and toe sections of the AMP irons are relieved by the V-Skid sole design, which reduces turf drag and add to the sole's versatility. This helps to promote a consistency in distance and accuracy.
Cobra AMP irons are available in both steel and graphite shafts. The graphite version feature the AMP Aldila shaft while the stock shaft for the steel version is the True Temper Dynalite 90.
Vice president of research and development at Cobra, Tom Preece, said: "Our AMP irons are perfect for any type of golfer looking for improved distance and accuracy. We studied golfers' shots to develop our E9 Face Technology and now we've improved upon that with our multi-alloy design.
"The two features work together to provide increased distance in long irons, consistent short irons as well as improved feel and forgiveness."
