Cobra AMP Cell drivers launched
Following on from the success of the Cobra AMP driver, Cobra has announced the launch of the Cobra AMP Cell, the Cobra AMP Cell Pro and the Cobra AMP Cell Offset
The original Cobra AMP Driver's unique colour scheme and impressive performance has paved the way for the new Cobra AMP Cell and Cobra AMP Cell Pro drivers, and both look poised to take things even more to the extreme.
The AMP Cell and AMP Cell Pro drivers will both be available in four different colour schemes, and each head can be set in six different loft/trajectory settings within a 3° range.
New SmartPad sole technology means that the face sits square to the target - regardless of loft setting - by reducing the amount of sole in contact with the ground at address.
The standard AMP Cell can be set in 8.5°, 9.5°, 9.5° draw, 10.5°, 10.5° draw and 11.5° settings, while the AMP Cell Pro can be set in 7.5°, 8.5°, 8.5° fade, 9.5°, 9.5° fade and 10.5° options.
The standard AMP - in addition to different loft and face settings - will have a 460cc head, in contrast to the Pro model's 440cc equivalent. A non-adjustable offset version of the standard AMP Cell will also be available.
The entire crown of the AMP Cell driver will be available in four colours - Directoire Blue, Silver, Vibrant Orange and Barbados Red - with a matching sole design.
All versions of the Cobra AMP Cell driver will be available from early February. The standard AMP will be fitted with a Fujikura Fuel shaft and retail at £249, the AMP Cell Pro (£319) will be fitted with a shorter, heavier MRC Kurokage shaft and the AMP Cell Offset will cost £219.
