The body of the Callaway RAZR XF irons is forged from carbon steel to offer the improving player responsive feel through impact. The steel face is, Callaway says, stronger than traditional stainless steel that should help generate quicker ball speed for added distance.
Callaway was given its new RAZR XF iron a black PVD finish to provide a sleek finish that will attract the mid handicapper. However, it is the forgiveness provided by the perimeter weighting that is the headline performance promise here.
Callaway RAZR XF irons will be available with a stock RAZR XF graphite shaft or with the stock steel option of True Temper's GS95 Parrallel Tip. The Callaway RARZ XF irons will hit the shelves on October 1st.
