INFINITUM - Europe's Best Golf Venue With A Stunning Beach Club And Mouthwatering Gastronomy
INFINITUM is the Costa Dorada’s premier golf, lifestyle and real-estate resort
INFINITUM on Spain’s Costa Dorada is one of Europe's best destinations for both golfers and non-golfers.
With two varied Championship 18-hole golf courses, a nine-hole course, award-winning beach club with eight swimming pools and one of the region's best restaurants, INFINITUM is a paradise with plenty on offer for visiting guests.
The golf offering at INFINITUM is spectacular, with the water-strewn championship Lakes course (home of this year’s ISPS Handa Championship in Spain on the DP World Tour and a three-time host of Q School finals); the more mature tree-lined Hills course, another championship layout that has also hosted Q School finals and is set amongst a gorgeous rocky backdrop; and the nine-hole Ruins, which has been recognised as one of the best short courses in the world that offers up an extremely fun challenge.
The DP World Tour Qualifying (Final) has returned to to the Lakes and the Hills courses, where golfers can test their skills on the same courses as some of Europe's best professionals. The Lakes course has recently been upgraded, too, with new fairways laid using Bermuda Tifway grass to improve sustainability.
Bermuda Tifway 419 is one of the most durable species of grass due to it being heat and drought-resistant, and requires 60% less mowing in the winter to help ensure the reduction of fuel consumption.
The Lakes course is symbiotic with the gorgeous Séquia Major wetlands serving up a number of exciting water hazards and picturesque Catalan scenery. It was the venue for a famous ‘home’ win for local hero Pablo Larrazábal in April on the DP World Tour, when he claimed a thrilling one-shot victory after birdieing the final hole and closing with a Sunday 62 at the ISPS Handa Championship in Spain.
INFINITUM has been named Europe’s Best Golf Venue at the World Travel Awards for the last three years, but there is so much more to it than just the golf courses, with an award-winning beach club that is the perfect place for both families and adults to unwind.
Set in a calm and tranquil environment overlooking the Mediterranean, it's home to eight swimming pools, a family area perched 100ft above the sea and enveloped by towering pine trees, and modern gastronomy. The adults-only Signe pool provides a most peaceful setting, with the beautiful new Pura pool allowing guests to enjoy the best in well-being and downtime. Children are also catered for in the Family Area, able to play in safe surroundings as parents relax in the sun on the Beach Club’s loungers.
INFINITUM welcomes diners with a diverse repertoire of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. The crown jewel is the spectacular Flamma Beach Foodhouse, one of Costa Dorada’s best restaurants, which serves an eclectic range of Mediterranean food crafted with fresh local ingredients.
For a lighter experience, Gusto Mediterranean Tapas brings gourmet flavours to the Beach Club, while the Hills Clubhouse offers panoramic views for guests to enjoy as they dine on invigoratingly healthy dishes.
Also on site are a stunning selection of BREEAM-certified, high-quality homes that sit within walking distance of everything you need to live in exclusivity on Catalonia’s beautiful coast. These properties come in a wide range of sizes and styles so, no matter what you are looking for, the perfect home is waiting.
The resort is based just a 10-minute drive from the beautiful ancient city of Tarragona and is under 90 minutes away from the centre of Barcelona. INFINITUM features direct access to the beach and Mediterranean Sea.
