Bradley Dredge: Tour Talk
Check out the first installment of the Welsh star's blog as he lifts the lid on life on and off the European Tour while his blossoming career goes from strength to strength.
Welcome all; it's a great time for me to start my first Golf Monthly blog as my season is entering its most critical phase. Best of all I am feeling fit, healthy and confident in my game. My performances in Ireland at the Adare Manor Irish Open and at the Celtic Manor Wales Open have really given me a lift. Two second places is always tinged with disappointment but it shows how well I am playing.
Since then I have had a bit of time off, which is never a bad thing especially as I am likely to be playing the next four weeks in a row. With the European Open, the Scottish Open and then the Open itself coming up it's all seriously hotting up and I can't wait.
Great news my current OWGR is high enough that i will be heading to Carnoustie to tee it up in the Open Championship. It also feels pretty good to have already received my invite to Southern Hills Country Club for the USPGA in August things are going well! Part of my preparation for the final Major of the year will hopefully be the WGC Bridgestone Invitational event the week before. So there is a huge amount to aim for, which is the way I like it.
However, it's not all work and no fun at the moment I did a fashion show for one of my sponsors, Hugo Boss, the other day and I have to say I surprised myself and actually enjoyed it! Not sure I will be making a career out of it although after hitting the gym for the last three weeks I am in top condition
Bar a call from Elite Modeling Agency I will check in soon to let you know how I am getting on in the most important part of the season.
