Regarding the December issue debate, over which is worse: overly slow or overly quick golfers. I think almost any golfer up and down the land would agree that in fact one of the most annoying things out on the course is unrepaired pitch marks on the greens and divots not replaced on fairways.
About 80% of the people who leave the course in this condition are golfers who care more for getting round before it’s dark or to get home three hours from when they left. I would also bet these so-called golfers are the first to whinge at how bumpy the greens are, or how their ball ended up in divots during their round. Take your time, enjoy your golf and leave the course in a condition you would expect to find it in.
