Wow, what a busy few weeks it has been! First of all I had my end of year PGA exams which I sat over two days at the Kendleshire Golf Club in Bristol. All the spare time and energy I had was spent revising for these exams, hopefully I did ok but for the time being I will just have to wait patiently until July when I get my results!
Now that I have got the exams over and done with I have been able to finally start playing some golf. I've played in two Titleist Assistant events since my last blog, one at the Players Club in Bristol and one at Cumberwell Park, Bath. I have to say I have been hitting the ball great and hopefully the scores will start to improve. I tied for 15th at Cumberwell Park with a round of 74, leaving me in 28th spot in the Order of Merit with one event to go. Hopefully a good final event will help me to get into the top 20!
As well as playing a bit I have also been doing quite a bit of coaching. Over the last few weeks I have been coaching at Kings Forest Primary School in Bristol with the Year Ones. Most of the kids have never played golf before - only crazy golf - so they Ioved the opportunity to have a go! I have one week left coaching at the school and it has been a fun experience. I will definitely be going into more schools trying to get more kids involved! Anyway, that's enough for now, thanks for reading!
