Betting round-up: Abu Dhabi and Sony Open
Last week our man came agonisingly close to sweeping up at both the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and Sony Open, but you should have still picked up some tidy returns

Paul Krishnamurty gives you a comprehensive betting guide each week for the best of the action from the Race to Dubai and PGA Tour. Last week our man came agonisingly close to sweeping up at both the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and Sony Open.
But if you followed our tipster then you should have picked up each-way on Martin Kaymer (20/1) and Rory McIlroy (20/1) – tied-second and tied-fifth respectively in Abu Dhabi.
Meanwhile, Charles Howell III finished fourth in Hawaii (50/1), which should have given each-way punters s tidy return. Unfortunately it was a case of ‘what if’ with Steve Marino (50/1) and George McNeill (66/1), who finished just outside the money in a tie for seventh spot.
However, back to the Race to Dubai, and if you were savvy enough to follow Krishnamurty at the start of the season, you’ll be happy with Paul Casey’s position of fifth in the Race to Dubai Money List – tipped each-way at 20/1. The Englishman is now a general 12/1.
The season is still young and there are plenty more opportunities starting this Thursday at the Qatar Masters, As usual, Krishnamurty will provide you with a comprehensive betting guide to give you the best possible chances of beating the bookies.
