USPGA Championship Fantasy Golf Picks:
USA 1: Dustin Johnson - DJ is having the season of his life, winning both the US Open and WGC-Bridgestone in quick succession. He's fresh off a T2nd finish in Canada, hasn't missed a cut all season and has four top tens in this tournament. It's key to hit it long and straight at Baltusrol and that's exactly what he's been doing since he's started to fade it with the driver.
USA 2: Jordan Spieth - The Texan has struggled with his game this season despite winning the twice and dominating the Masters for three and a half rounds. He came T3rd at the WGC-Bridgestone so is bringing some form to Baltusrol as he hopes to pick up his third major.
GB: Lee Westwood - After another season of near misses in the majors, Westy comes in to 'Glory's Last Shot' as one of the world's best players without a major. That title could describe Dustin Johnson and Henrik Stenson before they won theirs. Danny Willett also won his first major this year, could it be the year of the first-timers?
Ireland: Rory McIlroy - The double USPGA winner has been threatening something big this year, despite only winning once at the Irish Open. He's changed his grip recently and lets hope that's all bedded in and he can now play his best golf.
Scandinavia: Henrik Stenson - After one of the greatest performances in the history of golf at The Open, Stenson has to be fancied this week. He's had four top-6 finishes in the PGA including two top-3 finishes in the last three years.
Rest of Europe: Sergio Garcia - Like Westwood, Garcia is a man who's CV has everything bar a major. He was in the top-5 at both Oakmont and Royal Troon so there is evidence that his first one could be coming soon. He's had some success at the USPGA, having finished in the top-3 on three occasions.
Asia: Hideki Matsuyama - The Japanese sensation won the Waste Management Phoenix Open earlier this year by taking down Rickie Fowler in a play-off. Since then he's had a T6 finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and top sevens at the Masters and Players Championship.
Africa: Charl Schwartzel - After watching him on the driving range at Wentworth for the Gary Player Invitational last week and studying his swing on my slo-mo video, I was in awe. The club was square the whole back and through and his ball flight was arrow straight every time. He's won three times worldwide this season and it's easy to see why.
Australasia: Jason Day - Baltusrol is a typical American course and those are what Jason Day plays best on. It's long, penal off the tee with fast, undulating greens. The world number one has gone slightly quiet of late but ended the Canadian Open with a good final round. Add to that he'll be desperate to defend his Wanamaker Trophy and he's got to be fancied.
South America: Jhonattan Vegas - It'll be hard for the Venezuelan to go back-to-back but the RBC Canadian Open winner has had a quietly good season with four top-5s. He's been highly rated for years and perhaps his final round 64 in Canada showed that his game is coming into its prime.
