Fantasy Golf stats round-up: week 5
Take a look at who did the best after another weekend of fantasy golf
Rory McIlroy's win at Quail Hollow was a popular one for many of the fantasy managers as was Miguel Angel Jimenez's runners-up finish in Spain
Fantasy Golf stats round-up: week 5
Rory McIlroy’s win meant that for many they not only had a winner but also their Captain got them maximum points for their team. While James Morrison’s absence from our group of Great Britain players meant that those with Miguel Angel Jimenez were left particularly happy.
PGA Tour
Rory has been a popular pick all season and many have him as their captain. So there was plenty of celebrating going on as he took the Wells Fargo Championship by a mile. A lot of the high placed Americans came from the same pool and you had to go down to Jason Bohn to get the highest placed finisher in pot 1 of the Americans. While Webb Simpson and popular pick Phil Mickelson finished in the good points.
European Tour
James Morrison’s impressive victory did not help any Fantasy Teams as he is not included in the Great Britain pot currently. Meaning that those with David Howell, Francesco Molinari and Miguel Angel Jimenez were left to sweep up the most points available. Must mention Miko Korhonen, the Fin will not have been in many teams but managed to top the Scandinavian ranking this week.

Overall
Team 'Curls now heads the overall standing with a team containing Rory McIlroy as Captain, Phil Mickelson, David Howell and Emiliano Grillo pushed to top spot.
While the monthly leader is Rosies Rebels who had a surprising pick of Justin Thomas in their team, but one that got them plenty of points.
Who’s hot and who’s not
Adam Scott, Emiliano Grillo and Phil Mickelson were the most popular players to be subbed into teams last week, and for those that subbed in Mickelson and Grillo they were some of the top performers in their categories.
While Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and Jason Day made way as they took a week off.
