Lee, who represents New Zealand, earned his first PGA Tour win at the Greenbrier Classic, getting the better of North American trio David Hearn, Kevin Kisner and Robert Streb in a play-off.
On the European Tour, Bernd Wiesberger won the Alstom Open de France by three shots from James Morrison. Graeme McDowell, who had won the 2013 and 2014 editions, didn't make the cut.
PGA Tour
Lee qualifies for this month's Open with his win in West Virginia, along with Hearn, James Hahn and Greg Owen.

European Tour
Rafa Cabrera-Bello had another strong week on Tour, as he finished fifth, eight shots behind winner Wiesberger.
South African Jaco van Zyl also enjoyed an excellent weekend, ending up in third place ahead of Martin Kaymer.
Overall
Boddington leads the way at the top of the leaderboard, 112 points ahead of second placed Paxton Putters.
Graham DeLaet was the highest-ranked finisher in Boddington's team.
Who's hot and who's not
Unsurprisingly Graeme McDowell was among the most popular transfers last week, along with Bubba Watson and Francesco Molinari.
Shane Lowry, David Lingmerth and Brandt Snedeker were the least popular players.
