Fantasy Golf Picks: FedEx Cup and Ryder Cup On the Mind
This week on tour it's the start of the FedEx Cup as well as a huge week for the Ryder Cup!
Made in Denmark at the Himmerland Golf Resort in Aalborg is only in its third year but has one of the best atmospheres on tour with excellent levels of support from the spectators.
Darren Clarke makes his Ryder Cup picks next week and Shane Lowry, Martin Kaymer and Thomas Pieters are all in the field. Would a win earn them a wildcard spot?

There are great prizes from Puma Cobra Golf to be won each and every week. This week’s prize is a Cobra Dry Tec bag and the prize for the month is a Limited Edition USPGA Tour Bag and a pair of Ignite shoes.
Fantasy Golf picks:
USA 1: Dustin Johnson - I've gone a bit predictable this week with so many of the world's best players back after missing the Olympics. DJ has to be fancied here despite missing cut at the USPGA in his last outing. Like most, he'll be rested and raring to go as he tries to win his first FedEx Cup.
USA 2: Jordan Spieth - The defending FedEx Cup champion is also nicely rested after a T13th finish at the USPGA.
GB: Justin Rose - The Olympics champion will feel like the world's best player right now, having beat Henrik Stenson in an epic battle in Rio.
Ireland: Shane Lowry - The Irishman realistically needs to win in Denmark to have any chance of a Ryder Cup pick, with the likes of Westwood, Kaymer and Knox probably ahead of him in the pecking order. He's a top class player and I expect him to do well.
Scandinavia: Henrik Stenson - The Swede has won the BMW International Open then The Open, finished T7th at the USPGA where his putter disobeyed him in the final round and then won silver at the Olympics. Potential of a burn-out but he has had a week off and of course won the FedEx Cup in 2013.
Rest of Europe: Martin Kaymer - The German goes into Made in Denmark as bookies' favourite and I agree with that. He hasn't won since 2014 but has had a very solid year in 2016 and a win here would certainly get him onto the Ryder Cup team. Remember that he is a double major winner and a former world number one. The cream may rise to the top in Denmark.
Asia: Si Woo Kim - The South Korean is 15th in the standings after an imperious week at the Wyndham, and, although you rarely see players go back-t0-back, I can see him doing well at Bethpage. It's difficult to look past Matsuyama but he really doesn't seem to be at one with his putter at the moment. Kim was seriously impressive last week and lets hope he can keep his form up.
Australasia: Jason Day - The last hole the world number one played, he eagled it. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't enough as he finished one behind Jimmy Walker at the USPGA. The defending champion would love to win here again and go on to claim a first FedEx Cup trophy.
