Fantasy Focus: Tiger Woods in Wyndham field

Woods joins the field in North Carolina after USPGA Championship disappointment.

Following a third missed cut in five tournaments, Tiger Woods announced that he would be competing at the Wyndham Championship this week.

The 14-time major winner will arrive in North Carolina on the back of rounds of  73 and 75 at Whistling Straits. Also competing in the field after their USPGA exploits are Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama and Jason Dufner.

The European Tour will stop off at the Made In Denmark tournament, where Marc Warren will aim to defend his 2014 title.

Home favourites Soren Kjeldsen and Thomas Bjorn will also start at the Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort, with Darren Clarke set to compete, too.

GM tips for each category

USA 1: Billy Horschel - Having finished in the top 30 in nine of his last ten tournaments, you have to wonder if Horschel will turn good performances into a victory. He won the FedEx Cup around this time last year with some sparkling form.

USA 2: Brandt Snedeker - A T5 finish at the Wyndham Championship last year coupled with a win in 2007 means Snedeker's form at this tournament shouldn't be overlooked.

Great Britain: Marc Warren - The Scot will return to defend his title in Denmark in decent form. He has two top five finishes in his last five tournaments and will be expected to finish high up the leaderboard again this week.

Ireland: Michael Hoey - With two top 10s in his last six tournaments, Hoey is perhaps the best placed Irishman to pick up big points come Sunday.

Scandinavia: Thomas Bjorn - After a strong start at the USPGA Championship, Bjorn fell away to T48. However, in a less pressurised envrionment, and his home country, Bjorn might fare well this week.

Rest of Europe: Martin Kaymer - The German finished top of this category last week thanks to his performance at the USPGA Championship and will hope to carry that form into North Carolina.

Africa: Branden Grace - A player who continues to impress, Grace again stood out at a major championship. He finished third at the USPGA Championship and perfomed strongly at the US Open. He could be set for another good week.

Asia: Hideki Matsuyama - He may have been slipping down leaderboards lately, but Matsuyama has shown what he is capable of this year. Standout results include fifth at the Masters and T2 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Australasia: Adam Scott - There's no doubt that Scott will feel he is due a win. He will arrive at the Wyndham Championship having missed the USPGA Championship cut and is without a victory since beating Jason Dufner in a play-off at the Crowne Plaza Invitational last year.

South America: Camilo Villegas - The Colombian won this tournament last year and that should be enough to back him, despite inconsistent form of late.
