The FedEx Cup returns after a week of rest and the narrative is already looking intriguing.
Given recent results there seems to be somewhat of a 'big four' in the sport. Rory McIlroy, the current world no. 1, will tee it up at the BMW Championship alongside Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler and Jason Day.
Fowler's Deutsche Bank Championship win sees him continue to apply pressure on the other three, with Spieth even missing the cut in Boston.
The European Tour stops in Italy this week, where Martin Kaymer, Danny Willett and Padraig Harrington are among those in the field at the Open D'Italia.

GM Tips
USA 1: Rickie Fowler - It's hard to go against the Californian given recent results. With three wins under his belt this year, including in the last event, Fowler may be the man to beat.
USA 2: Jordan Spieth - There's no doubt this year's Masters and US Open winner was off it at TPC Boston. However, resilience isn't something the young Texan lacks. Expect him to bounce back here.
Great Britain: Danny Willett - Without an appearance since the USPGA Championship, Willett will arrive in Italy fresh. Prior to Whistling Straits, he had finished T17, 1 and T6. Good form, indeed.
Ireland: Rory McIlroy - When McIlroy turned up at the BMW Championship last year, he was coming off the back of a double major winning summer. This time things are different. Yet, could you really back against the world's best player finding form this week?
Scandinavia: Henrik Stenson - Something has to give for Stenson, doesn't it? He's finished second in both of the FedEx Cup events so far. He might get over the line in Illinois.
Rest of Europe: Rafa Cabrera-Bello - The Spaniard enjoyed a real purple patch between the Irish Open and the French Open. After a slight dip, he scored 235 points in Holland last week and could have another strong week.
Asia: Hideki Matsuyama - Two top 25s for Matsuyama in the FedEx Cup so far make him a strong bet for another solid outing.
Africa: Brendon de Jonge - His T22 at the Deutsche Bank was his best result in 11 tournaments. Perhaps an outside bet with Louis Oosthuizen in the field, but rounds of 65 and 68 in Boston will do his confidence no harm.
Australasia: Jason Day - Another play whose form cannot be questioned. Two trophies in a month, including in the first play-off event, put Day in a commanding position.
South America: Fabrizio Zanotti - The Paraguayan finished outright fourth in Holland on Sunday. Of his four previous European Tour events before that, he finished no worse that T22 three times.
