The Grove has hosted the world's best players on numerous occasions, most notably in 2006 when Tiger Woods famously prevailed at the WGC-American Express Championship - one of his two career victories in England.

Woods eagled the long, uphill par 5 9th hole three of the four days, and you'll see a sign commemorating it when you play the course - it's a tremendous feat and still remarkable to think about it to this day.

The Grove also hosted the 2016 British Masters, which was won by Sweden's Alex Noren, so you really can follow in the footsteps of game's best.

The championship layout was designed by the renowned architect Kyle Phillips and is always in supreme condition. It is a parkland-style course with undulating green complexes, challenging bunkers and water in play on numerous holes. There are four teeing positions on each hole to cater for a wide range of golfers.

The resort is very easy to get to for you and your guests, situated just 18 miles from central London and near to the M25, M1 and A41. You would hardly know it, though, thanks to its beautiful Hertfordshire countryside location.

It's a stunning woodland setting with idyllic water to navigate throughout the layout.

State-of-the-art facilities

With a world class course comes state-of-the-art facilities, which include brand new buggies that feature their own Bluetooth speakers for you to play your favourite songs as you go round.

The driving range also features Trackman technology for you and your fellow players to dial in your swing before you go out, where you'll get your own 'pyramid' of golf balls just like the pros.

There's also newly refurbished locker rooms and a private courtyard to enjoy drinks and post-game formalities.
